Please make this a movie

I just finished reading The Missionaries and I have one thing to say.  I want to watch it next.

This needs to be filmed in super high def and take the form of a mockumentary.  A National Geographic special meets The Office.  The only difference between the book and the movie is that a film crew would come along with Dr. Prout.  

If you haven't read it yet, go get it here.  It's a dark comedy that surpasses Kurt Vonnegut's Mother Night and Joseph Conrad's The Duel. 

 

Update:  More than anything I want to see the natives reasoning out what the traps were for.  I want to watch them build their Houses of Filth and their toy gardens.
