The headline reads "Portland on edge after suspect in weekend killing is fatally shot by police". Well maybe they should be. What else are you supposed to feel like after firing shots that feel like "the beginning of a war"? This is nothing more than explicit targeting of those willing to protect themselves and their city.
In one chilling detail contained in the affidavit, a Portland police detective wrote that surveillance footage showed Reinoehl looking back toward Danielson and walking into a garage entryway to conceal himself as he watched Danielson walk by.
Never let your guard down. Your enemy always gets a vote. The right's philosophy has always been one of si vis pacem, para bellum, if you want peace, prepare for war. The left's philosophy has always been inflict or threaten violence to get your way. Now is the time that we are put to the test. Our enemies are now putting our preparation to the test and what happens next will either show our worthiness or our failure.
